Grab a book and a cup of hot coffee because it is time to relax and read! Project: We used a firebox, white ledgestone veneer, clear 1x wood boards and paint to build this custom fireplace. The project took 3 days to complete. Design Tip: A well-designed fireplace can become the focal point of a room, so don't skimp on materials. This is the time to spend to accentuate the room and enhance its appeal.

Elegant Dining Room
Elegant Dining Room

Are you ready to eat in style? With this dining room, home just became a 5-star restaurant. Project: We remodeled everything in this Chicago home. Everything in the photo is brand new and selected by our amazing designer. The project took about 12 weeks for the whole home remodel. Design Tip: Incorporating french doors adds character to a room and provides an option to still divide the space while maintaining the feel of an open layout. The best of both worlds!

Pebbled Fireplace
Pebbled Fireplace

Who needs ledge stone or natural stone veneer when you can have pebbled stone? Project: We revamped the fireplace by adding pebbled stone around the firebox and on the floor. We also added woodwork for the surround and mantle. The custom fireplace took 1 week to complete. Design Tip: For a fresh look without invasive construction, use chalk paint for the bricks and wall paint with an eggshell finish for the wood.

Upstairs Stairway
Upstairs Stairway

Seriously. Can you find a reason to not walk up-and-down these stairs? Project: Included into the whole home remodel were a new set of stairs. We added wainscot, wrought iron railing, oak treads and risers, and painted the walls and stairs. The stairs, walls and floors (new hardwood) took 4 weeks to complete. Design Tip: Wood floors and iron railing provide a nice contrast in a room's design. Plus, iron railing comes in a myriad of design options, making choices nearly limitless.

Recipe for an Industrial Look: Add (1) Open Ceiling, Spray Paint Black, and Add (3) Metal Light Fixtures. And Voila! Project: The project was a condo remodel, which included the kitchen, floors, walls and trim, as well as fixture selections. The fixtures took 2-3 hours to position, connect and install. Design Tip: Industrial Chic is one of the hottest design trends right now. Also, did you know that minor, low-cost projects like changing light fixtures have the highest return on value?

A Touch of Formal
A Touch of Formal

Remarkable impacts in a finished remodel can sometimes come in the form of a simple addition. Project: We installed new oak treads and risers. Then, we painted the risers white and stained the treads (and posts). The project took 3 days to complete. Design Tip: Replacing stairs requires carpentry skills, but painting only requires a steady hand. Try painting or staining your wood stairs. But before going all-in, make sure you test your stain color on a sample piece of wood first.

Elements of Design
Elements of Design

What do you see? A room or a professional design? Project: We added wainscot to the walls, painted the walls, ceiling and trim, added new white, vinyl windows, new hardwood and new light fixtures. This is a full room remodel. This project took 4 weeks to complete. Design Tip: Try painting to spruce up a room's look. Sheen options are: flat, eggshell, satin and semi-gloss. Use eggshell for the walls and semi-gloss for the trim.

Finished Entrance
Finished Entrance

Come on in! With this entrance, you will always feel good walking in to your home. Project: We added a new front door and transom, new floors, painted the walls and ceiling and added light fixtures. The project took 3 weeks to complete. Design Tip: Consider the use of wall sconces. You will need to hire a licensed electrician, but, in this design, the wall sconces become the focus of a once plain wall. Another small project with great return on value.

Finished Living Room
Finished Living Room

Grab a couch, an end table, a lamp, a coffee table and an area rug and let's make this a living room! Project: In this project, we remodeled the interior of the home, which included taking the interior down to the studs and rebuilding from the outside-in. The project took 12 weeks to complete (the whole home). Design Tip: Did you know that vinyl windows can be customized to almost any type, size, color and option? And they have a short lead time with only 1-2 weeks for delivery.
